Our Origin Story
A woman-owned business, Katï Coffee began with a love of learning, a fascination with what makes coffee truly exceptional, and a curiosity about each coffee drinker’s taste preferences.
We roast thoughtfully sourced specialty coffee in small batches, carefully interweaving art and science to create something truly magical.
And because every coffee bean is different, “we pay homage to each bean so we can highlight its uniqueness.”
What Katï Means
Katï means knowledge in Lelemi — the language of Teteman, a mountain village in Ghana.
It’s a reminder that wisdom starts with curiosity, and great coffee starts with care.
And then there is Remï the owl (and our mascot), who makes sure we always remember who we are and what we stand for.
