About Us

Katï Coffee began with a question: What makes a cup of coffee truly exceptional? That simple curiosity sparked a journey — from exploring the intricacies of origin, terrior, and varietal to diving deep into the science and soul of roasting.

Along the way, Katï became more than a roastery. It became a space for craftsmanship, connection, and community.Founded by Mirian Diop and woman-owned, this specialty coffee roastery aims to "pay homage to each bean so we can highlight its uniqueness." We roast in small batches with intention and care, drawing on both precision and creativity to bring out the distinct character of each bean, whether as a single-origin offering or in concert with other coffees in one of our exquisite blends.

Our purpose goes far beyond exquisitely roasted coffee beans. Katï exists to enrich lives and create experiences. We are proud to serve and support our local community — including students, first responders, and adults with special needs — through ongoing initiatives that prioritize dignity, opportunity, and collaboration.

Grounded in our values of Respect, Integrity, Resilience, and Excellence, we leverage curiosity and sound judgment as guides for how we work, grow, and serve — as a team and as a partner in our community.

Fun fact: Katï means "knowledge" in Lelemi, a Ghanaian language from Mirian's hometown, Teteman. And our mascot, Remï the owl, is a reminder that knowledge, when applied with care, leads to something meaningful.

You’ll find us in Georgetown, Texas — roasting with purpose, giving with heart, and always learning. Stop by for a visit.
