LESS CHOCOLATE, THINNER CREMA

My most recent bag of Sumatra dark roast is more subdued than my previous order of Sumatra. The current batch makes good espresso, but the chocolate flavor notes are barely noticeable (they were much more pronounced with my previous batch). In addition, the crema is thinner and about half the volume of the previous batch. This may be related to the reduced chocolate flavors. I definitely liked the previous batch more than the current batch.

JUST THAT GOOD!

I’ve been drinking this as espresso for a few weeks now, and I keep coming back to it—it’s just that good. The dark chocolate notes are front and center, and that richness really carries the whole espresso. It’s not sweet, and there’s barely any acidity, which I actually love. Super smooth and easy to drink.

Awesome fresh roasted coffee beans

I've been a loyal Kati customer for about 4 months now. Mirian & Dave take a personal interest in each of their customers. Mirian spent time getting to know my personal coffee preferences and then came up with a combination of beans and roast that matched my personal preferences (Papua New Guinea with a Full City, borderline Espresso roast). I love it. I now have a subscription timed to match my consumption, so I always have perfectly roasted coffee beans for my daily lattes.
