A blend of Abyssinia, Ateng, Gayo 1, and Timtim varieties grown on farms between 1,200 and 1,400 MASL. Because of the high humidity in the area, the coffee is wet-hulled (giling basah), a process unique to Indonesia.

his coffee is grown on many small farms by farmers who work with cooperatives where they can share resources, arrange training, and negotiate better prices collectively. In addition to coffee, tea is another critical crop in the region... many coffee farmers also work as laborers on nearby tea plantations after the coffee harvest.
